Education Qualifications For The Posts School Teachers

Note:- CTET pass candidates can also apply for the above said posts.

TGT – Science Techers Qualification?

• 1. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in Science as elective or Honours subject and as a Science teaching subject in BTC/JBT/D.Ed. (Diploma in Education)/ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.;

OR

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in Science as elective or Honours subject and Science as a teaching subject in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ B.Ed. (Special Education ) in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard;

OR

Four years Bachelor I Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with at least 50% marks in Science subject;

OR

Four years integrated BA. B Ed. With at least 50% marks in Science subject;

2. In Case of B. Sc., a combination of at lest three subjects out of the following :-

Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics

Note:- In the case of Hons. Degree, in any of the above mentioned subjects, the candidate must have studied other two subjects in the first and second year of course and must pass paper both In theory and practical in the concerned subject;

3. Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) in Science subject; and

4. Hindi/Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matriculation or Higher.

TGT Social Science Teacher Qualification?

1. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in Social Science as elective or Honours subject and as a Social Science teaching subject in BTC/JBT/D,Ed. (Diploma in Education)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El. Ed.);

OR

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in Social Science as elective or Honours subject and Social Science as a teaching subject in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ B.Ed. (Special Education) in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard: ii) ii) iv) Note: In the case of Hons. Degree, in any of the above mentioned subjects, the candidate must have studied other two subjects in the first and second year of Course, OR ii) rour years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with at least 50% marks in Social Science subject:

Four years integrated BA.B.Ed. with at least 50% marks in Social Science subject;

• In Bachelor degree any two subjects out of the following with at least 50o marks in aggregate individually during all three years of course:- (1)History (2) Political Science (3)Economics (4)Geography (5)Sociology (6) Psychology
• Qualification for the post of TGT (Punjabi) : Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/ School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) in Social Science subject; and Hindi/Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matriculation or Higher.

TGT Punjabi Teacher Qualification?

1. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in Punjabi as elective or Honours subject and as a Punjabi teaching subject in BTC/JBT/ D.Ed. (Diploma in Education)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.);

OR

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in Punjabi as elective or Honours subject and Punjabi as a teaching subject in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ B.Ed. (Special Education) in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard;

OR

Four years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with at least 50% marks in Punjabi subject; OR Page- 5 Four years integrated BA.B.Ed. with at least 50% marks in Punjabi subject;

•  Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) in Punjabi subject; and
• Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matric or Hindi as one of the subject in Higher Education.

PGT Physical Education Teacher Qualification?

1. M.A. Physical Education or M.P.Ed. with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed.) or its equivalent from a recognized University.  
2. Matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.
